Rayagada(PR), 31stMay 2023 - Utkal Alumina International Limited (UAIL), a subsidiary of Hindalco Industries Limited of the Aditya Birla Group has recently showcased its steadfast dedication to community engagement by hosting a remarkable two-day summer camp at its Nuapada Clubhouse. With a core focus on creating a memorable and artistic experience, the camp aimed to bring joy and enrichment to the lives of children residing in the nearby villages.Over 100 children from various peripheral villages have enthusiastically participated in this camp.
The two days summer camp, spearheaded by Utkal Aluminaon 30th& 31st May 2023 with the presence of Ms. Hina Beig, President of Ujjwal Utkal Ladies Club, along with esteemed members of Ujjwal Utkal Ladies Club, Ms. Juhi Srivastav, Ms. Rashmi Panda, Ms. Rasmita Patnaik and Ms. Smrutishree Jenamani.
Ms. Niharika Sahu, GM CSR Plant, along with other notable officials from Plant CSR team and Graduate Engineer Trainees (GeT) have coordinated the event.
The members of Ujjwal Utkal Ladies Club have intensely engaged with the children and skillfully taught them by utilizing their well accomplished skills like painting, origami, fine arts, paper craft, dance, and pottery. Their dedication and commitment added a vibrant touch to the event, leaving a profound impact on the children’s artistic exploration and self-expression.
The concluding event was graced by Mr. Mazhar Belg, Unit Head & President of Utkal Alumina. In a heartwarming gesture, Mr. Beig humbly acknowledged the immense importance of community development initiatives. With steadfast dedication, he proclaimed, "The summer camp serves as a testament to our unwavering commitment to fostering the comprehensive growth of the children in our community."
