Balangir(Tej Raj Mishra, PRO)On the occasion of '85th CRPF Raising Day', 189 Battalion, CRPF has organized several programs on July 27, 2023. The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is completing its glorious 84 years in the service of the nation and is celebrating 'Raising Day' on 27th July 2023. The history of the country encapsulates in golden words the contribution of CRPF, the world's largest paramilitary force, in multi-faceted duties, sacrifices and utmost dedication towards the motherland.

In the beginning of the day, all the officers and jawans of 189 Battalion CRPF planted trees. Thereafter, tributes were paid to the martyrs of the force who laid down their lives for the unity and integrity of the country. To commemorate this historic milestone, the senior most officer took the General Salute at the quarter guard, and sweets were distributed to all CRPF officers and jawans.

In the evening an inter-company volleyball competition was organized in the presence of all the officers. In which the soldiers participated enthusiastically. A traditional BARA KHANA was organized for dinner.
