Balangir(By Tej Raj Mishra, PRO) “Meri Maati Mera Desh” campaign was organized by 189 Battalion, CRPF in co-ordination with Nehru Yuva Kendra,Balangir (Odisha).  The program was attended by Veer Naris & families of CRPF martyrs and other ex-servicemen of CRPF at Battalion Headquarters, Shantipara.  At the outset, Senior Officers welcomed all the guests and thanked them for participating in this program organized for them. Followed by felicitation/honoring of Veer Naris & families of CRPF matyrsresiding  in the AOR.

                        In his welcome address, Second-In-Command told the guests that today's program has been organized for the purpose of recognizing your efforts and contribution in advancing the force while serving in the CRPF.  The position that the CRPF has reached today and due to which this force has the distinction of being the largest force in the world, somewhere in it all the Martyrs and ex-servicemen of CRPF have contributed a lot.  We are continuously serving the country by following the path shown by you.  Due to the way you have been told to serve the country, the demand of CRPF is increasing continuously in every corner of the country and also in foreign countries. 

                        Today the nation and the CRPF itself is recognizing your performance and all the Group Centers and Units are organizing this program in your honor. On this occasion, the ex-servicemen of CRPF shared their past memories and retired life experiences with the serving officers and jawans of the unit. Normal refreshment during the program and finally after lunch, they were given departure to their destinations with the assurance that if there is any difficulty in their life, 189 battalion CRPF is always with them.
