Balangir(By Tej Raj Mishra, PRO)Today, on August 14, 2023 at 1030 am, house to house tricolor bike rally was organized by 189 Battalion, CRPF in Balangir city.  The rally started from the Battalion Headquarters, passing through Dainik Bazar, Samaleshwari Temple, Patan Chowk, District Commissioner's Office and ended at the Battalion Headquarters.  In this rally, Municipal President Smt. Leeka Sahu increased the value of the rally by joining with all corporators of Balangir city along with the local people, workers and representatives of various social organizations also participated in the rally.

Volunteers group Orior Group, teachers and students of ITI College participated in this rally.  While interacting with the media persons, the Second-in- Command of 189 Battalion, CRPF informed about the campaign  and also called for bringing the flag home collectively as the nation celebrates 77th year of the country's independence by the Government of India under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence from 13th to 15th August "Ghar Ghar Tiranga". Made aware about the "Ghar Ghar Tiranga" program to further honor the national flag on the occasion of the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence and  Motivated people to hoist the national flag at their homes.
