Therubali(PR),BIPF launched a Digital Literacy Center in Therubali, empowering 40 women and girls from nearby villages spread over to peripheral GPs like Therubali, Kartikaguda, Keliguda, Khedapada and Dumuriguda. The inauguration ceremony was attended by esteemed guest like Sri Haladhar Himirika, Vice Chairman, Kolonara Block, Sarpanch of Therubali Ms.Mamata Pulaka , Sarapancha of Khedapada Sri.narasingh Kilaka , Srapancha of Dumuriguda Ms.Manika Pirbaka and Director of PALLI VIKASH Sri. Radhasyam Panda.The programme was attended by the learners and their parent organized in the Old Therubali Industrial Institute campus. The Vice-Chairman Sri Himirika voiced that “This initiative will bridge the digital divide and provide computer education to underprivileged communities and make them self-reliant”. All the sarapanchs praised the efforts of IMFA & BIPF to make the rural women computer literate and transform their lives in this digital era. Sri Shakti Panigrahi, Sr. Manager (PR), IMFA advised the learners to utilize this opportunity as much as they can and make them capable in this digital framework. All the learners have been provided with learning Kit including Computer Book, Note Book and digitized Carry Bag and all 40 learners will be provided training daily basis in Two batches. The BIPF Team under the Leadership of its Programme Officer Sri.Prabhakar panda organized the programme nicely and coordinated by Sri.Manash Mahapatra, Executive of PR department.
