Therubali(PR),Dt.31.5.2024,The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) of Rayagada, in collaboration with Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd. (IMFA), organized a legal awareness program on solid waste management at Therubali under the guidance and support of Sri.Asish Kumar Roy, Vice-President & EIC, IMFA, Therubali. This initiative aimed to educate the employees on the legal frameworks governing waste management and their role in maintaining a clean and sustainable environment. Mrs. Nibedita Panda ,Member Secretary in the cadre of Sr Civil Judge, explained the laws related to waste disposal, penalties for non-compliance, and the importance of employees participation in waste management practices.The program featured presentations by legal experts such as Smt.Subhra Panda , Vice-Chairperson ,Rayagada Municipality and Panel Advocate ,DLSA, Sri Biswanath Gantayat, Secretary, Bar Association ,Rayagada ,Mr.Balkrishna from Rayagada Municipality, Advocate Sri Kishore Sahu & Sri.Sitaram Panda , Retainers of Front office DLSA. Sri M.Srinivas, GM Mechanical briefed the august house on the practice of Solid waste disposal in IMFA. Mr.Shakti Panigrahi,Sr. Manager(PR) extended a hearty welcome to all the participants, Guests in the program, Mr Prasant Kumar Nayak I/C QC Co-ordinated the program and Ms.Tapaswini Panigrahi extended the vote of thanks to all.
