Udhampur(PR), A Bharat Darshan Programme under Civic Action Programme-2025-26 was organised by 137 Bn, CRPF, Udhampur (J&K), which is being held w.e.f. 08.04.26 to 13.04.26. In a continued effort to strengthen community outreach and promote national integration, 137 Bn, CRPF, Udhampur (J&K) has sponsored & organized this School Tour from Udhampur (J&K) to Varanasi (UP) consisting of 20 students & 02 teachers belong to Govt. Higher Secondary School, Garhi Udhampur (J&K). Flag-off ceremony was held on 08.04.26 at 137 Bn, CRPF, SRTC, Udhampur (J&K).

The educational tour programme will be undertaken from Udhampur to Varanasi and is aimed at providing the participating students with meaningful exposure to the rich cultural, historical and national heritage of the country. This initiative reflects the commitment of the Central Reserve Police Force to encourage youth development, broaden the horizons of young students and foster a spirit of unity, patriotism and social awareness through educational exchange and experiential learning. 
During the six-day tour, the students will visit places of historical, cultural and educational significance in Varanasi, enabling them to learn beyond the classroom and gain first-hand experience of India s diverse traditions and heritage. The Bharat Darshan Tour has been organised as part of the Civic Action Programme 2025-26, under which 137 Bn, CRPF has been undertaking student outreach initiatives in Udhampur (J&K) to promote confidence- building, national integration and constructive engagement with local communities. Shri M.K. Sicon, Comdt-137 Bn, CRPF Udhampur stated that such programmes are intended to inspire students, build confidence among youth and create lasting educational value through guided exposure visits. The initiative is expected to be a memorable and enriching experience for the participating students and stands as another step by 137 Bn, CRPF Udhampur towards community partnership and youth empowerment in the region. The event underscored 137 Bn, CRPFs commitment to youth welfare in Jammu & Kashmir through proactive civic action programs. CRPF officials emphasized building resilient communities, noting similar drives in Udhampur reached many students earlier. This program reinforces CRPFs role beyond security. 
Media personnel and local people have appreciated the efforts of 137 Bn, CRPF in organizing this event under Civic Action Programme and requested 137 Bn, CRPF to organize such events in future also as this kind of event is very useful for local students. 137 Bn, CRPF has organized similar events during 2024 & 2025 also. 2426 Commandant-137 Bn
